“The art of war is of vital importance to the State. It is a matter of life and death, a road either to safety or to ruin. Hence it is a subject of inquiry which can on no account be neglected.”
The Art of War – Chapter I.
In amongst the madness and terror of the current era, have you had the time to sit down in the bush, free of devices and immediate burdens, to contemplate your strategy? or even better, to contemplate the strategy of the enemy?
Many have spoken about “the way forward” for Nationalists, without having borne a great deal of thought about what the enemy is doing to make sure we fail in our mission. It is to this, I will draw to your attention.
What is the universal strategy ploy in which all Nationalist activist organisations have fallen prey to over the decades since the end of the White Australia Policy? or the equivalent legislative acts across the wider western world?
“Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him.”
Considering the enemy’s strategy
If I was an entrenched, cosmopolitan anti-white elite, the time-tested and proven strategy I would follow is to bait the Nationalist opposition into making rash decisions to enter into battle when he is unprepared for the actual consequences of the fight; as Sun Tzu writes in the context of besieging a fortified enemy:
“The general, unable to control his irritation, will launch his men to the assault like swarming ants, with the result that one-third of his men are slain, while the town still remains untaken. Such are the disastrous effects of a siege.”
Stop and think for a moment, how in a few sentences, so much has been encapsulated in the contemporary activist strategy. Here you have often, young men in the ages between 18-25 with no money to their name, no institutional influence, no “soft landing” (housing, employment, social support) and no weapons from which he can do battle (legal resources or lawful coercion, ie, industrial actions, boycotts etc).
This young fellow, bold and brave, charges himself up against the highly equipped forces of the cosmopolitan elite, who have the media, law enforcement, industries and high finance firmly in the palm of their hands! This is analogous to the substantially unarmed levies of pre-conquest celtic tribes of Europe waving their privates around, jeering and charging up against the rigid, disciplined phalanx – falling upon the spears of the conquering Romans.
Who can question their bravery? None – but they died nonetheless, and as such their cause was lost for under the relentless, self-disciplined, logistically savvy Romans, the known world fell to its knees. This is much like the current foe that holds our nation’s institutions by the horns and demands by its tyranny the fealty of every political party, major corporation and institution in the country.
How many young, faithful Nationalists across Australia have been eliminated over the last decade by 5am no-knock police raids? Front-page news reporting? Loss of employment and livelihood? Fortunately these have not been an issue for ANA members, but have been the bread and butter for most other self-professing Nationalist activists. They take the bait and rush in unprepared like ants to borax.
A Lesson from the Punic War
During the second Punic war, the Romans suffered a catastrophic defeat at the battle of Cannae. Although the Romans outnumbered Hannibal 2 to 1, by strategy, they were slaughtered, and this created the opening for Hannibal to enter Italy and wander around its territories for a great length of time capturing towns, plundering wealth and for lack of a better word, molesting the entire nation.
The manpower of the Roman legions after Cannae was woeful, tiny numbers, and even less so experienced and competent fighters. It was at this time of crisis that the Roman senate appointed Quintus Fabius Maximus as Dictator of Rome. He had total control of the armed forces of the Romans and answered to nobody.
Fabius took stock of his situation, and the stakes at hand. He threw ego and vainglory to the side, he knew of his numerical disadvantage, the lack of experience of his newly drafted troops, and went on a course of strategy that avoided a pitched battle with Hannibal: He knew if he fought directly, he would be defeated and the certainty of Rome’s defeat would be secured.
Fabius’ strategy was quite unpopular at his time. His Master of Horse, Marcus Minucius Rufus, publicly attacked him. Livy reports that Minucius described Fabius’ caution as cowardice and his deliberation as mere laziness: “He called Fabius’ deliberation indolence and his caution cowardice.”
His contemporaries said that Fabius’ strategy betrayed the Roman virtues of bravery and made a mockery of the nation. Despite this and being slandered as “a delayer” and a coward, Fabius continued to build up his forces, he rallied more men, drilled them, all whilst harassing the rear-logistics of Hannibal.
Sun Tzu recounts “if [your numbers are] quite unequal in every way, we can flee from him.. Hence, though an obstinate fight may be made by a small force, in the end it must be captured by the larger force.”
It was Fabius’ strategy that allowed the forces of Rome to eventually take back their precious Italian soil over a lengthy, sharp disciplined conflict in which Hannibal was unable to, despite many attempts, to bait him into a direct fight with his main forces.
So, what’s the relevance here?
Every young Nationalist has every right to be outraged by the defiling of our country by the enemy. The problem is however, the state has done exceptionally well at convincing Nationalists that the principal response to this situation is to throw himself naked at the enemy, much like the swarming ants rushing a walled city to which Sun Tzu refers, to die honorably upon the spear-tips of the cosmopolitans who are hell-bent on the destruction of our nation and our race more broadly.
We suggest that before any competent challenge to the cosmopolitan elite may be offered, it is foundationally required that Nationalist efforts are comprehensively backed by all the tools necessary to wage a metapolitical conflict. This means not only “hot takes”, or media exposure – but it means men, money, housing, employment, institutional influence, legal resources, governance capacity and internal discipline.
Most of this must be built from the ground up, for those who already have access to these tools and resources, are the same people with “a lot to lose” and as such, will only provide support to us once we can reciprocate with our own means of support that makes it worth the risk to them. As the current state of the nation is not, and will not be for many years, cataclysmic enough for the wealthiest, silent patriots of the land to unconditionally offer their support; they may continue to move further out of the cities into their multi-million dollar Villas and continue to enjoy the fruits of a large scab alien workforce.
But haven’t things changed?
Although we see a serious upswing in public sentiments towards Nationalist perspectives, there nonetheless remains an entire punishment apparatus that can and will be used for anyone who enjoys the spotlight with an unashamed Nationalist perspective – perhaps now more than ever. The cosmopolitan elite are more likely now, more than our recent history, anxious about popular Nationalism, and will work even harder to make sure they smash any popular Nationalist against the rocks until they are gone or have been silenced.
Even with the recent successes of One-Nation, Pauline unfortunately has doubled down on a civic-nationalist position, denouncing any ethnic or racial considerations when it comes to immigration policy – quite like the earlier remarks made by Senator Malcolm Roberts. I need not canvas their other new electoral candidates who have very poor credentials as to Nationalist belief.
Any foray into electoral politics, if you think this to be the way forward, relies upon being able to attract and maintain control over credible candidates for election, people who have proven skills, careers and character. These are often people with “something to lose” and will be unattractable to an electoral effort that doesn’t have ready for it legal resources and sufficient “soft landing” measures that can attract a Nationalist electoral candidate that is actually electable.
Electoral candidates must rely upon you, more than anyone else, before you get to decide the terms of their policy. Which means you must have something to offer them, much-like the tools we already canvassed which are necessary for non-electoral political activists.
It must be again cautioned, that any Australian Nationalists who want to try electoral party entryism must be aware that your greatest danger exists not with the cosmopolitan leftists on the outside, but within the moderates of the party on the inside; who will (and have done in years past) do anything (including leaking your information to the media for a scandal piece) to displace you, to prevent the party being captured by Nationalist influence.
I would again ask you, with all the blood and sweat you spill trying to work in entryism schemes, consider where your energy might be better placed in a way that doesn’t have so much sunken cost at risk?
So what then can we do?
The program to obtain these ‘tools of metapolitical war’ is already well advanced and is incomparable to what we had in hand a decade ago at the outset of our organisation. However, there still remains the dire need to obtain a more robust catalogue of resources and capabilities. We continue to recruit from across Australia, grow our branches and accumulate more human resources, money and skills which will continues to compound upon the total strength of the Association. Too, we continue to encourage and develop our existing membership in taking upon the course of increasing their own skills and capacity.
Our Association’s research material and publications continues to have an influence on the broader Nationalist perspective in Australia; a manifold shift in Nationalist consciousness since the days of our foundations. Now our adversaries are regularly confronted by the foundationally racial-nationalist principles of the Australian Labor movement and the Returned Services League; which has been picked up and advanced by many contemporaries outside of the ANA in the cause to shift the public consciousness.
We encourage all of our members to plot their own lives and careers in a manner which is advantageous to the over-all strategic direction of the ANA; be that choosing a new career vocation that provides incidental skills and benefits to the Association (ie, Lawyers, Private Security, Investigations, Regulators, Journalism, Teaching, Accounting, Engineering & Construction) or merely by making a concerted and good faith effort to ascend to positions of influence in your industry, profession, community and neighborhood to advance the interests of Australians or by being a ready and able volunteer in an ANA project.
Our Association projects always need manpower and fundraising; you can help by providing time and money for these activities – reach out to your branch governor to ask where your help is needed.
Conclusion
The stakes are high, and the risks have not changed. Fabius did not break with his original strategy at the first sign of weakness in Hannibal’s forces. Self-discipline, and sharp strategy is, and always will be critical in delivering victory for our Association and our people at large.
Do not be baited into suicidal actions by irritation. Be strong, controlled, ruthless and persistent in pursuing actual strategic objectives.
